I thought Stidham looked solid at the beginning but then snow finally decided to hit Denver and ugly up the plan. Eyes on the Coliseum prize 🏟 — The Brighton Bulldogs are 11-1 and a perfect 5-0 in the 6A/5A Rocky Mountain Basketball League. It’s the best start for the Bulldogs since the 2018-19 team finished 19-6 and 9-1 in the league.

“We believe we’re (at least) an Elite 8 team,” Brighton Head Coach Greg Rau said after beating Westminster last week.

The Cougars are prowling — Evergreen boys basketball fans that made the drive down the hill to Golden High School on Jan. 23 got their money’s worth. 

The Cougars ended the Demons’ 10-game winning streak with a dominating 58-43 road victory. Evergreen (11-3, 2-0 in Class 5A/4A Jeffco League) has now won nine straight games dating back to early December.
